Earle first opened the doors to our Woodbridge location in 1962 – although back then we were called Cunningham Mountcastle Funeral Home. They soon developed a reputation for serving their neighbors with compassion and the most excellent attention to detail. In 1987, Earle and his wife, Meg built a second location, Mountcastle Funeral Home in Dale City.
In 2000, Michael Turch was named General Manager, and in 2010, was named Vice President and Managing Partner, and the firm changed its name to Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home & Crematory. Michael is passionate about continuing the rich legacy of the funeral home. Along with the rest of our team, he believes and instills the philosophy that everyone’s life has meaning and is deserving of the most personalized celebration, regardless of social or financial standing, religion or ethnicity. As he often says, “We are – in every sense of the word – a life celebration home.” There are times when nothing but the best will do. This is one of them.
